We are happy to announce the first INNO2MARE Young Female Innovation Leader recognition. Do we really believe that “Old saying that a woman on board is bad luck”? Absolutely NO, the INNO2MARE consortium partners not only don’t believe this, but to the contrary works actively to counter this deeply rooted belief in maritime industry. We believe that the maritime ecosystem should embrace the approach where the ships are a referred to as “she,” symbolizing the power of women as a crucial factor in building inclusive, innovative, and sustainable maritime industries. Furthermore, INNO2MARE opens up new opportunities for improvement of current female situation in the maritime sector. Through initiatives like the INNO2MARE Recognition and Young Innovation Leader Recognition, the project celebrates the achievements of dr. sc. IVANA LUČIN, women who are breaking these barriers and leading transformative change.
