The University of Rijeka (UNIRI) recently hosted its 3rd annual Career Days from March 24 to 27, 2025. This event, aimed at enhancing career management skills among students and alumni, provided a platform for various organizations to connect with potential future employees. Among the prominent participants was the Maritime Center of Excellence (MCOE).

Throughout the Career Days event, MCOE representatives engaged with students and alumni, providing insights into the various projects and career opportunities available within the organization. The interactive sessions and discussions facilitated by MCOE were well-received, offering attendees valuable information and potential pathways for their future careers.

MCOE’s participation was marked by an engaging presentation of all the projects the organization is currently involved in. This comprehensive showcase highlighted MCOE’s commitment to advanced development and innovation. One of their presentations was the INNO2MARE project, which focuses on strengthening the innovation ecosystems in Slovenian and Croatian maritime regions to support digital and green transitions.

To provide attendees with more information about this project, MCOE displayed a banner on digital totem featuring a link and a QR code to the official INNO2MARE page. Students could easily scan the QR code to access detailed information about INNO2MARE and its objectives.

In addition to the INNO2MARE project, MCOE introduced the Career Connector platform, an innovative tool designed to support students in the maritime industry. This platform offers various career development opportunities, internships, and collaborations with leading companies and institutions in the maritime sector. By registering on the Career Connector platform, students can enhance their employability and connect with potential employers.

The event provided a unique opportunity for students to explore career possibilities and connect with industry leaders, paving the way for future collaborations and advancements in the maritime and technical sector.
