Bootcamp IT is an intensive, free, three-month training program designed for those looking to gain experience, practical knowledge, and programming skills—opening doors to employment in the IT sector. Whether you’re a student, someone seeking a career change, looking for retraining opportunities, or simply wanting to enhance your existing skills, Bootcamp ITand its excellent instructors are here to support you on your journey to success.
The training runs from April 14th to July 11th and consists of lectures and hands-on exercises in programming. The curriculum includes topics such as Python fundamentals, Python libraries, and a mini project. Additionally, it covers databases, SQL queries, idea development, and business models. In the second part of the program, we will explore web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
The intensive three-month training will conclude with project assignments developed in collaboration with renowned IT companies, culminating in a Demo Day where participants will present their solutions to potential employers.
All adult Croatian citizens with basic computer skills, regardless of employment status, are eligible to apply. Prior programming knowledge is not required, but motivation, active participation, and dedication to successfully completing the training are essential. With the right mindset, Bootcamp IT is perfect for anyone looking to take their first step into the IT industry or improve their existing IT skills.
After the application deadline, a selection process will take place, including document verification, psychological testing (logical reasoning test and orientation interview with a psychologist), and a final interview. The selection process will be conducted on March 24th, 25th, and 26th, and those selected for the program will sign an agreement.
Bootcamp IT will be held at the Center for Technical Culture Rijeka, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Participation is free for all attendees who fulfill their contractual obligations. Additionally, subsidized accommodation in Rijeka will be provided for those who need it.
